Kevin Keys
MY VOICE IS AN INSTRUMENT OF PRAISE UNTO YOU OH LORD!
“A Big Man with an even bigger voice” is the best way to describe this anointed praise and worship leader. Born in North Carolina and raised in Brooklyn NY, Kevin’s singing career began when he was 8 years old in his parent’s after-hours club in the basement of their home.
Kevin’s recording, writing and production career has been working with several independent labels throughout the tri-state area. He has made measurable success while making the Billboard R&B charts several times, both as a vocalist and as a songwriter / producer. Kevin was later introduced to R&B Legends “The Isley Brothers”
Recognizing his talents, the brothers took Kevin to Los Angeles to record his first solo album. In 2004 Kevin gave his life to Christ and joined “The Old Ship of Zion Holy Church” in Center Moriches, NY. Currently Kevin directs the Old Ship of Zion Inspirational Choir. At this time, he is in the studio polishing up some finishing touches for his first solo/ debut Gospel CD for GSR Music, scheduled for release in spring 2010
