“Praising Around the World”  highlights the rich and diverse talents of REV 7 with their premeire release on GSR Music.  Just like the title indicates, this music reflects the various flavors of international melodies and rhythmns delivered to praise the king of kings.  The CD opens with some very hot gospel funk that will lead you to crank up the volume and stomp your feet with ”Shout”

“Never Lose Your Praise” comes next with a beautiful and rich R & B feel that is completed by a very cool rap section from Jeff Germain.  Don’t be surprised if tears are rolling down your cheeks after hearing “Love be Sincere”  This African style pop song expresses a two way conversation between man and Jesus, based on the book of Romans

There is so much more wonderful music that follows: REV 7 is bringing salsa, reggae, motown, samba and beleive it or not some of the most soulful blues numbers ever recorded.  While most Christian artists shy away from the history of this rich American music, REV 7 has utilized it to capture true emotions that Christians whom made the decision to carry the cross experience in their everyday lives.  “Righetous man” is already being picked up by secular blues stations because of the originality, not to mention horn arrangements that you can feel down in your bones.  “Gone” is another blues number with a searing guitar and rhytmn section that culminates with a rap peice by fellow GSR Music artist New Lewi.

While there is so much great music to praise about (OK,…pun was inteneded), we do have to mention an incredibly beautiful song which was prophetically delivered to today’s church by REV Scott Cuocco & Dino Ascari appropriately title “His Kingdom is at Hand”  The CD closes with an acopella doo-wop style number titled “Singing your way to Heaven” which features the angelic voice of Leah Cuffey.  Trust me, after listening to this CD; you too will be singing your way to Heaven!
